DMX began rapping from the mid 1990s. In May 1998 the rapper released his debut album called It's Dark and HELL IS HOT. Through the years, he's released a number of albums including as...And Then there was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog...Again Redemption of the Beast and Flesh of my Flesh. His album... And Then There Was X won a Grammy Award in the year 2001, for the Best Rap Album. Apart from his musical endeavors, he also starred in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five wounds that never die alone The Bleeding Romeo Muse Die Backstage in the background of the Law Lockjaw Rising of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
